Thumbs up Special Jamaican Size A - JR Cigars Review

As I continue to try blue collar bundle cigars... I have some wins.. and some misses.. but for me.. this one was GOOD. The Special jamaican Size A 6.5 x 44 rg is a maddie that really had a good bouquet when I opened the wrapper around the bundle. Put these in the humi for a week now.. and just had one with a nice glass of rum and coke over ice. OK.. so I am not sipping a high dollar port or single malt .. but again. this is a blue collar review. J&R has these on sale for 5 dollars off.. and I would recommend buying a bundle in the maddies if you like a mild to medium smoke. Pre light was wonderful.. there is an unusual crispness to the stick.. familiar but I cannot put my fingers on it. Warming the foot produced a very nice wiff of creaminess along with a bit of leather and mild spice. This is NOT a flavored cigar.. but it does have a hint of something going on here. First third... Wow... no bitterness at all.. burn was clean and even.. very creamy... not quite a Montie typ creamy.. but close... the smoke was of a good volume and very tasty. The ash grew to almost 2 inches before coming off.. remember.. this is an under a 30.00 dollar bundle right now. Two thirds into the cigar.. needed another rum and coke... been outside for about 45 mins... burn is even... after ash came off .. it had a nice little peak going.. even burn... even draw.. no surprises.. just a good relaxing cigar.. notes of nutmeg and leather.. and a slight cocoa taste. OK... came out with a fresh drink... picked up the cigar and surprise.. still was going great... WOW... all this for under 30 bucks for a bundle. Last third... nothing bad.. still a great volume of smoke... nice aroma.. which has lasted the whole length of the cigar.. starting to consider NUB mode for this one... darn.. forgot my special custome made paper clip .... Last half inch of the cigar.. just plain relaxing... again.. there is something in this make up.. which I am sure a Gorilla with a much better pallet then mine could define.. but creamy.. relaxing... no bitterness... just a good mild to medium.. stick. I enjoyed this and will buy another bundle very soon. Well this was my first review.. so I hope I did OK.
Peace
Michael

Hey, nice review! If you're going to do more "blue-collar" stogie reviews I'm looking forward to reading them.

Re: Special Jamaican Size A - JR Cigars

Hey thanks all... HMMM.. idea.. I wonder if I can somehow get a Sticky thingy going called.. Blue collar bundle review????
I would be super willing to keep it going... and it might be nice for those of us with million dollar dream cigars but a working guys budget

If anybody has any ideas on that one.. I would love to head that one up... I have some very good contacts at JR and Famous Smoke.. and I know they would be interested in this as well.. I hope
Peace
Michael
