Neptune Oceanide Review

Overall a good looking cigar. A beautiful tan wrapper that didn't have any noticable flaws, it did seem a little thin though. THe construction was supperior and it burned like a charm with a nice white firm ash.

Flavorwise this cigar is really nothing special. It's very mild with some creamy undertones and a little spice near the end. I'm a fan of full bodied cigars so this isn't going to make it to my top 25 list but none the less its still a good smoke. If you are looking for a light bodied smoke, you can't go wrong with these.

The only problem I had was the tendency to overheat the cigar. I guess that's one of the reasons I mostly smoke larger cigars.

Overall I give this cigar a B-. While there was nothing really wrong with the cigar, it just isn't my bag.

RE: Neptune Oceanide

I would have to agree with the Big man on this. I enjoy the Neptunes but not really my normal smoke. I find them great for sunday morning with the coffee and newspaper. They very much remind me of RyJ Vintage (Dominican) at a better price. You might want to check out the new Force2 from Neptune, it is a bit more robust but in the same vein. After a few more of these I will post a more complete review.
