Taboo Spec. Forces toro. MY FIRST TABOO! Review

Got this one in a bomb from Longknocker (I laugh everytime I type that name). Huge cigar, must be 58 RG and packed with tobacco. Prelight smell is sweet with some cedar and toast.

Initial light up is a breeze this thing breathes a lot. Surprisingly, not a huge volume of smoke off the bat as I was expecting however, it had a nice sweet /toasty nut flavor and nice draw. Ash was firm and white right away.

About an inch in, flavors mellowed, white pepper and burnt toast on the palate. This sucker is going to be a long smoke for sure. the ash dropped about an inch and a half in and the flavors are further developing.

About halfway through the smoke, I had a lung transplant. The flavors are melding together and the sweet, spicy flavors are working perfectly together. the smokeis getting more substantial with large plumes coming off in every draw. At one point, I had to check on my dinner and came back 5 minutes later and the thing wasstill burning and drawing perfect.

All in all, this is an outstanding smoke, would have enjoyed it more if it was a 5 X 50 or 6X 50 vitola but the construction was solid, it was packed with tobacco and the flavor was great. This was my first Taboo and to Rob and friends over there it, will not be my last.

Thanks for the review.
Was it a SF Original or a SF Boot Camp?

The name SF boot camp seems to me to be an oxymoron.

Glad she smoked well though.

The SFO is a really tasty smoke... but something of a butt-kicker. You must like a full strength stick.

I like the SFO, but I probably prefer the SF Boot Camp for a regular smoke. Either way, you can't go wrong IMHO.

Thanks for the review Scott. I have a few of the SFO robustos left in the humi, and just finished ordering some of the new SFO Petit Corona's (5.5x42) from Rob this afternoon. Looking forwards to their arrival
