2 more reviews from your resident Led Head: Carlos Torano 1916 & Padron 3000(M)

Greetings once again everybody!

Things are slow at the radio station, so I figured I'd post two more reviews for your viewing (or, reviewing?) pleasure.

First up, Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon Robusto

My first cameroon and it delivered; what a tasty cigar! Draw was a little "loose" and there were some super slight defects in the wrapper, but I really enjoyed this cigar.

Really pleasant aroma and very tasty smoke. I really tried to "savor" the flavor of the smoke. Really enjoyed the slight sweetness to it, very mild, but there. Lots of interesting spice and earth flavors.

Nubbed the little guy while listening to the new Kings of Leon CD, very good smoking music!

This was the first cigar that I "purged" halfway through and boy did it need it! the flame that came out as I blew was huge! REally noticed a difference after purging it.

After this cigar, I'm very interested to try some more Cameroons!

Next up, Padron 3000 Maduro

I'd heard alot of hubbub (sp?) about this series here on the forums. Lots of people rating it very highly in $3-$6 range. I grabbed the maduro as I had recently really enjoyed my first maduro (Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro)

This was my first "educated" B&M cigar purchase! Friends and I were going out to the bar and I regretted not bringing a stogie from home. Thankfully, there is a cigar shop on the same block. I've been there before but usually just grab "whatever looks good." It was fun going into the humidor already with something in mind!

The cigar was $6 and worth it! Lasted more than an hour and burned very nicely. However, I wasn't expecting the nicotine buzz it gave me! About 15 minutes later my stomach was in knots
Next time I'll be more wary of the effects one of these full-bodied bad boys can have on me.

I really liked the flavor and aroma of this smoke. Nice coffee and earthy tones. My girlfriend even commented how she liked the smell and that my lips tasted a bit like coffee

Construction was very nice and it had a great draw. I had some pretty wicked ash going for awhile! You can see it in the attached pic of my gf and meself!

Would definitely smoke some more of these bad boys!

Thanks for the review! I have my eyes on these two cigars myself when I get the chance.

Nice reviews! Looks like Wakano to me! Anyway, I didn't really care for the 1916, but I do love the Padron x000 series both natural and maduro. The first Maduro I had really kicked my ass in the nic department!

Just grabbed 2 3000's from a B & M down by my folks house. Waiting for my father to visit to spark 'em up.
