Arturo Fuente Sun-Grown King B Rosado Review

After reading many other reviews and smoking a lot more cigars, I’m going to take a shot at an numerically rating system based on a few overall critical of “Overall Appearance,” being 12%, “Construction and Draw being” being 19%, “Burn” being 19%, and “Taste” being the remaining 50%.

Arturo Fuente Sun-Grown King B Rosado, $7 from CigarBid

Overall Appearance: Bad (0), OK (1), Good (2)
Appearance: Good (2)
Consistency of Wrapper: Good (2)
Construction and Draw: Bad (0), OK (1), Good (2)
Construction too Lose/Hard: OK (1)
Draw too Easy/Hard: Bad (0)
Well Made: Good (2)
Burn: Bad (0), OK (1), Good (2)
Initial: Good (2)
Even: Good (2)
Too Fast/Slow: Good (2)
Taste: Bad (0), OK (2), Good (4)
First Third: Good (4)
Second Third: OK (2)
Final Third: Bad (0)
Complexity: OK (2)
Total score of 21 out of 32 – 66%

Review

1st Third
No initial harshness but rather a pleasant sweetness with nuts and cream.

2nd Third
Nothing really changed, still sweet, nutty, creamy, and my lips started tasting sweet too.

3rd and Finish
Eh, things started to get dull, and the draw was becoming a problem. I tried to massage the mouth end of the cigar, but it felt like there was a stone in the way. Soon enough, the draw started to feel like it too!
Thoughts
Appearance wise, this cigar looks gorgeous, the construction and draw were not that great especially at the end, the burn was flawless, and while there was nothing bad about the overall flavor, it felt a bit too one sided. There were slight flavors here and there, but no real presence of it besides the sweetness. I do know though that if someone with little or no cigar experience wanted to have a cigar with me, this would be a good candidate, but at $7 each, it’s a tough sell.
