Indian Tabac Company Maduro WTH! Review

I would just like to start by just saying

I had plenty of cigars in my humidor. Well actually after looking at the humidor pic thread, I have nothing compared to some of you guys, WOW. But still for a newb, I have enough at home to select from, but I just felt like going to the store. I picked up a Romeo and Julieta Reserve Maduro Robusto, and an Indian Tabac Company Maduro. I got home, and I was just really curious about that cigar. Now I love Madruros and I just had to try that cigar. There were no flaws in the looks, it was a very nice dark wrapper, soft, and the overall look was very promising. I cut the cigar and took some prelight draws. I tasted an earthy flavor, not a fan at all, but I was hoping that I would taste some spice, or wood after some time.
An inch into it, and all i tasted was dirt. I was not impressed at all. It tasted like soil. If a bully grows up one day and you want him to feel the pain of the playground dork he use to shove face down in the dirt, give him one of these. Anothe inch, maybe even less, and the taste was consisten. I'll give them that. The taste was consistent, so if you are into that sort of taste (not judging), you shold try it, because it'll last well from my experience for about half the cigar for sure, the rest I don't know since I killed it and just brushed my teeth.

For me, next time for that money, it's either a sancho panza or a padrom 2000

Looks like a Super Fuerte Corona. Hope they really aren't that bad, because I have 10 of them resting in the coolidor!

Yeah a super fuerte maduro. These are ok in the larger ring gauges. And yes you should pay under 2 bucks off cbid.

Re: Indian Tabac Company Maduro WTH!

That's actually a Rocky Patel company, or off shoot or whatever you want to call it. I have one too that I got with the $15 humi + 8 cigars deal. I initially bought one for my co-worker and then thought it's such a good deal I'd have my wife order one for me (since it's 1 per customer). So I have it now sitting in the humi. It's a very attractive looking cigar - not the band, but the cigar itself. I've seen mixed reviews on this one as well, from great to horrible. Soon enough I'll try myself, though I have quite a few others to go through first
