Illusione 2 and Tatuaje Brown label Review
Unusual to have two reviews on one subject line but they're not great reviews so I thought I'd do this to save space.
Both of these cigars were gifted to me along with 8 others by a very generous Pipe & Cigar. When asked to participate in the 50 state pass, I lamented I didn't really have any "high class" cigars and Ryan sent a bunch to me so I wouldn't embarrass myself (or Wyoming). I kept 5 and put 5 in the pass along with 6 of my cigars. Let me say right out. I would never, ever have smoked these cigars. They are way out of my "psychological" price range. I've read reviews on these cigars and they always sounded so go but I've resigned myself long ago to smoke moderately priced cigars. I smoked the Illusione #2 for 2.25 hours and smoked it to the nub. It was spicy with good construction and burn. Flavors seemed to come and go and the cigar was even better the second half than the first. I got of got "lost in the cigar" so didn't take very good notes. I smoked the Tat Brown Label (Regios ?) for 2.25 hours and smoke it, too, to the nub. This is another cigar I got "lost" in and just enjoyed it with trying to think about what was happening. Hence, not a very good review. The "Tat" was a "party in my mouth", that's for sure. I think I finally experienced a "strong finish". Construction and burn were, again, top notch. Neither cigar required the fussy "touch ups" I'm used to doing with my usual, lower cost maduro wrappered cigars. Anyway, thanks alot Ryan for enabling me to see how the "other half" lives and smoke these unique cigars. WyoBob ![]()

Nice review. I have a box of the Illusion #2's in the vino and smoked one about 10 min. ago.

Re: Illusione 2 and Tatuaje Brown label
So ture and so easy to get lost in both the tat's and illusiones. I remember when the Illustiones were first launced, there was such a mystique around the cigar. I'm glad they lived up to the hype. Never had a bad burn or draw with any of the 20 or so I smoked. I love the unique smell and I smoke them deeper and deeper, almost turns sweet.
Ohh a triple maduro! make sure you turn your smoke detectors off if you are lucky enough to smoke inside because each of the 7 or 8 that ive had blew a tremendous amount of smoke. Cheers and enjoy. |

Re: Illusione 2 and Tatuaje Brown label
I just tried an Illusione 2 and I really enjoyed it. I didn't focus on it a lot in order to take notes but I can say the whole stick was very nice.
On a dorky note, I really think the bands on the Illusiones are neat - simple with a certain... mystique? ![]() I did have some minor issues with lopsided burn and had to touch it up but all in all I loved this stick.

Re: Illusione 2 and Tatuaje Brown label
I have had a Illusion Lancero sitting in the humi for two moths now, I think I might take to my work's x-mas party tonight.
