I like Gurkhas as well but won't pay the full price as I can get the Titans and Beasts for about $5 a piece. I had to laugh at a couple of the pics you had,,got a little rough there, didn't it? Way to stay with it.

So the burn was a little off. But you know what... DIDNT MATTER.. This thing tastes beautiful, The cedary cinnamon aroma matched with the mouthfulls of rish white smoke will keep the smoker entertained. The cigar is rolled very well and as emphasized before, the draw is perfect!

The burn evened out, and the wrapper started t come undone. Dont know why, this is usually somehting that i have not found to happen to alot of gurkhas in my short time of chiefing them down. I really am not very concerned because i am anjoying it, and thats all that matters.

Ending:

The cigar really heats up, the draw is wide open and you really taste the flavor coming out with every large draw. The aroma is as consistent as it was when it was initially lit. I urge everyone to try one of these, they are truly a delight.

CLIFFS:
1. Burn was uneven
2. Aroma is amazing
3. ash as white as snow
4. Taste is robust

--- Go buy one!!!!

The wrapper and poor construction is the same problem I've had with the gurk's I've had too. Its a little embarassing when in a group setting.

essentially, in your experience, every third cigar has construction problems and still you go out of your way for these things?

I have smoked the Legend perfecto and, as I recall, it was a nice smoke with a horrible burn problem. Most recent Gurkha for has been the Titan and it was a fine smoke.

Thanks for a nice review (did U smoke it indoors?)

Every gurkha perfecto I've had has unraveled. They have some serious QC issues.

Re: Big & Stinky -- Gurkha 8 year Legend Churchill

I smoked the toro size of the Legend last night. I did not experience any burn issues, but the draw on the damn thing was so tight, I nearly gave myself a headache. I have smoked multiples of the Regent, Master Select, Signature, Doble Maduro, and Legend and I have had draw issues on every one of them except the Doble Maduro. I love the Gurkha taste and aroma, but I can't deal with the draw.

One of my favorites. I picked up four 5 packs from CI a while back for $20 each. Tasty stick!
