Well, this was a small little treat. I am not a huge fan of light wrapper cigars. There somethign about the maduro that i really just get into. This cigar is one of the exceptions to my love of the dark side. The Fonseca F-50 is a decently priced smooth and mellow stogie.

Light brown bombshell:

The form is perfect, the outer wrapper is just the tinest bit spongey. The prelight draw is plentiful, even for the punch cut (read below). I really taste a coffee toen in the unlit draw.

Foot Job:

Knock out:
With a punch cutter. It was a nice even crisp cut. And the draw is still plentiful because i hear that the punch sometimes limits the draws depth.

The starting grid:
Started off really mellow, the draw was perfect, loose like i commonly crave. i usually get to herfin wuite hard to get lighter cigars to heat up and get some spice from them. The flavor is a fresh creamy light brown (with cream) coffee burst.

Check out my stick!

Mid field:
Everytiem i set it down i feel like i just put down a cup of warm coffee on a fresh Saturday morning. The use of water as a plaette cleanser is a perfect way to not get in the way of this brilliant flavor. Like i said, i dont know much abotu fonseca, but i do know that when i first experienced the cigars unlit aroma i knew that i had to have it.

Burning down the house:
The mellow flavor is gone... or rather it has been intensified. The coffee aftertaste is pleasant and sweet. it tastes much like a cup of strong coffee with just a bit of sugar and a decent amoutn of cream added. It actually tastes like the color of this wrapper looks. Theres such a mellow tone that you dont notice it at first.

We Be nubbin:
The ending is smooth and silky. The coffee taste is very present and it doesnt just exist in the aftertaste. I am very impressed with this cigar as far as the start and the finish. Both were extremely consistent with the bulk of the experience. very 1 sided, but very pleasant. Sometimes complexity makes you have mixed feelings.

CLIFFS:
1. coffee taste
2. draw was great
3. very consistent stick
4. Ending was pleasurful and intesne

I wish my experience with this was as good as yours... after 3months rest in the humi I decided to give it a shot while doing an oil change.

The wrapper was sweet smelling, and construction was good, which might have raised my hopes too much.

This thing was horrible. Extremely one dimensional, and did not have a good taste at all. I'm not sure what it was but it certainly wasnt coffe w/ creame.

I threw it in the yard at about the 2/3 point. I just couldnt take it any longer.

Decent morning smoke that pairs well w/ a cup of coffee. Wouldn't smoke it in the afternoon or evening though. Too light.

Like Dan said, it's a good mild smoke to hand to a noob.
