Padilla Limited Edition Cedro Robusto Review

I recently received a bunch of these new release smokes and decided to smoke some now, share some now, and save the rest for aging. Today I broke into the first one to give it a try.

The cedar wrapper was thin and tucked neatly under the Padilla band. The cedar was one of the most aromatic I have smelled on a cedros before... quite pleasing.

The cigar clipped very cleanly, and was slightly supple when squeezed... seems to be very fresh and well-kept before I got it. It took the flame easily and lit right up... burned nearly perfectly the whole time I smoked it.. no touch ups needed.

Draw was easy but not too loose... taste was just wonderful. I am not a huge cedros fan, but I may be after smoking this one! Flavors were deep and rich... hints of cream, some spices and that woody cedar taste all rolled into one. The smoke this stick puts out was huge... very white for a NC... Anyway, the strong cedar taste began nearly from the start and continued thru the whole smoke... this was a very nice cigar and I am glad I have more stocked away... I would highly recommend this smoke, even if you just try it once.

Cool. I just decided to try one today and am about halfway through.

I think you're right on, except the draw seems to be a little too tight for me. Very nice taste and smell though.

Re: Padilla Limited Edition Cedro Robusto

I smoked one right off the truck the other day & hated it. They seemed underfilled & the flavor profile reminded me of a Baccarat Casino. Will have to give it another try in a coupla weeks.
