Glad you gentlemen enjoyed yours more than I did. Had a 23 Maddie yesterday and thought it to be quite average. Not bad at all, but was fairly run-of-the-mill to me. I think a nice inexpensive budget cigar for sure, but I doubt I will reach for a box anytime soon. Thanks for sharing your impressions.

I had maduro thats been sittin in my cooler for 7-8 months and I smoked it the other night. I smoked it till I burned my fingers. For some reason, that particular cigar tasted like a chocolate covered pretzel. A creamy, chocolately slightly salty flavor. That is the best way I can describe it.

For the money, I'd go with the Perdomo2 instead, natural or maduro - both blow the Lot 23 out of the water in comparison, especially if you're factoring in the $ element.

The Lot 23 maduro is good, but recently replaced by the Perdomo 10th Anniversary maduro, which is a lot better IMNSHO.
