Lot 23 Maduro - Change in Opinion

I really like the Perdomo Lot 23 natural line. Always keep a box of the Bellicoso on hand. Because I am a big fan of Maduro cigars I was looking forward to the Maduro in this line. However, after trying several from different sources, was never very impressed.

Last year in September Famous offered a 5 pack of the Bellicoso Maduro so I decided to give them another try. Smoked one a couple of days after receipt. They were really nice looking smokes. Performance was excellent and the flavor really hit the spot with one exception, there was an overriding bitterness to the smoke.

Tried one of the Bellicoso Maduros today and it was excellent. The bitterness is gone and the flavor is wonderful. I think the cigar might have been a little wet when I first tried it which could have imparted the bitter flavor.

At any rate, I think I have found another go to cigar. Will smoke a couple more and hopefully they will also be good. I can see a box of these in my future!

The lot 23 maduro churchill is one of my go to smokes and VERY easy on the budget

You can buy boxes for $54 year round, not sure that is a huge deal

Anyone seen any better pricing on line then this?

The Joecigar deal was actually pretty good, but it was a daily special.

They don't blow the prices out of the water on the Lot 23, but across the board they can beat nearly every retailer. Call for the best prices and ask for Micah or Eric, great guys and they know their stuff
