Joya de Nicaragua Celebración Torpedo Review

Nicaraguan cigars have a reputation for being some of the most powerful. The Joya de Nicaragua Celebración line is a somewhat mellower Nicaraguan puro (the filler, binder and wrapper are all Nicaraguan). The Celebración has the same filler and binder as Joya de Nicaragua's Antano line, but these are wrapped in a Criollo seed wrapper. The result is a very complex, medium-to-full bodied smoke that is a bit milder, but still a medium to full-bodied smoke.

I'm enjoying my Joya de Nicaragua Celebración Torpedo on a Sunday morning after a hearty breakfast of two eggs over easy, spicy sausage, whole wheat toast and spicy V8. Now I am relaxing with a nice smoke and a pot of Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee.

This cigar looks great and burns straight with a nice white ash. Although it is medium to full-bodied, it is quite smooth. I bought two to try them out. This one is definitely worth buying a box.

I recently bought one and it was wraspped so tight I could not smoke it. I was really pissed because I like Hoya de Nicaraqua cigars. I will never get another of the Celebración line.

You really ought to try it again. I smoke a lot of the Robusto's.
