La Rica Robusto Tubos Review

Ok gorillas, this is my very first review, so bear with me.

So, I was having the "munchies" (NO, I didnīt smoke any marijuana) tonight and was really hungry, so I went out to buy myself a kebab. (Iīve been on a fast for almost a week, and so my appetite have been sneaking upon me the couple of days. Today I couldnīt withstand myself so...

Anyway....so after I enjoyed my food, I put on some movie I downloaded and took a quick peek inside my humidor, and I decided to go with this one.

I remember getting this baby at the last herf I was attending to. The first thing that struck me was that the draw was exceptionally good. I had to took a couple of puffs in order to sense something, but after a while I could hint some a leathery and earthy taste. To be honest, I havenīt tasted that many cigars, but the mild peppary taste grew on me and it just keept getting better.

After 10 to 15min I found another taste to stand out. Iīm not 100% sure but I think I feelt some sweetness in form of raisins. However...the last 5sec of the cigar were kinda bitter, but this might have been due to that it died down and I had to relight it.

So to sum up this cigar:

+ Mild and yet some really differential flavours.
+ Iīve never had such a long "ashpillar" on a cigar before, very nice!!! Some
say that you shouldnīt knock the ash off, cause it might affect the taste.
+ LOT`s OF SMOKE!!!
+ This cigar is fairly cheap, I guess. Itīs $7 here in Sweden, so I would say
that itīs a mediumclass cigar.

- The only negative I can come up with is that the taste of the cigar at the
end wasnīt very pleasing.

Thanks for reading!!

Never heard of it either. I believe I can read on the tubo that it is from Nicaragua? Will have to google.

Yes, the cigar is from Nicaragua. I found this reportage on the net for those who are interested http://www.cigar-cult.at/englisch/bb403b.htm

Also...I heard that "Mr.Bundles" _had_ these in stock before. Anyways, the cigar was suprisingly good for the price.

Jerry, Iīm sorry to say that I havenīt been to the toilet yet. I did however throw 85% of the chilies away, cause Iīm more than aware of the "stingy-feeling" they cause

Ron, to get one of those, go find your local greek/turkish community and ask for a Doner Kebab with all the trimmings.
