Had a disc golf friend give me one of these in the Gran Consul vitola over the weekend - something like a 4.5 to 5" stick at probably 60-62 ring gauge. A real stump of tobacco. And my god what a nice all evening by the fire stick. Was drinking canned Young's Double Chocolate Stout which seemed to be a good companion beer. Was just as tasty at the nub as at the light.

Just one of those deals where the stars aligned properly. The other vitola's are good too, but this Gran Consul chunk-o-stick to me way, way out-Nubs the Nubs.

C-Man introduced me to these a couple of years back....this was the stogie that won me over with the JdN line. It's got a little punch to it, but very, very nice on the palette. Just an overall excellant smoke. Hope you enjoy 'em, if not let me know...maybe we can work something out.
