Partagas de Luxe Habanos Review
Partagas de Luxe 5.5x40
Wrapper: Cuba Binder: Cuba Filler: Cuba Construction: Nice construction on this one. Not too firm, not too soft. Caramel colored wrapper with very few veins Perfectly applied cap. Prelight: Cut clean with the Xikar. Somwhat cedary. Firm draw. Smoking Notes: Lit somwhat uneven, but I attribute that to the wind. Burn stayed even after touchup. The flavor was incredible. Cocoa with hints of nuts and leather. Got kind of earthy towards the end. Overall Impression: What a delicious cigar. Very complex flavor profile. This was a machine made Habano in a gold tube. I never would have imagined it was M/M. I'm going to have to keep an eye open for more. Smoked it until my fingers burned. Nick

wow! i so have to disagree. i picked up one of these because i liked the tube...and partagas...i did not know it was machine made till i torched it.
WOW! what a soft stick...the last 2 inches i was crushing it by holding it. i was so disappointed. but i may have gotten the bum stick! |
