Macanudo Maduro Hyde Park Review

Macanudo Maduro Hyde Park
· Wrapper – Connecticut Broadleaf
· Filler - Dominican and Mexican
· Ring Size - 49
· Length – 5.50"

Construction: Dark Brown wrapper. A little bit veiny. Nice and oily. A nice looking cigar.

Prelight: Very nice aroma. Earthy and peppery smell.

Burn: Lit evenly. Burned evenly. Held a nice tight ash. I smoked this outdoors at the beach with a steady wind coming in off the water and it had no problems.

Draw: This cigar had a somewhat tight draw even with a full clip at the head

Smoking notes: Rich and tasty. Smooth. A very nice earthy taste. Very creamy. Medium bodied but probably considered a mild maduro.

Overall Impression: This was a very good cigar. It was a nice smooth smoke. I have been smoking maduros a bit more lately because I like the sweeter earthy taste of them. It’s not going to become my everyday cigar but a good choice for a change of pace. I will definitely smoke this cigar again.

If there is anyone that would like to try a maduro for the first time, or just likes a milder maduro I would highly recommend this cigar.

The Iceman is making some great reviews! Thanks!

It's nice to have reviews from someone that enjoys mild to medium cigars too.

"What chew talkin' 'bout, Willis?"
I was about to say I don't care for maddy's and Macs are too mild for me,
but looks like Kevin nipped that in the bud pretty quickly!

i had one of these the other night and found it be very satisfying but one dimensional. Very earthy and creamy. Mine had a great draw and i used a punch. I would definately smoke one or 20 of these in the near future.
