Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cedro Deluxe #2 Review

Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cedro Deluxe #2

Wrapper – Natural Indonesian TBN
Binder - Dominican
Filler - Blend of Dominican long fillers
Ring Size - 44
Length - 5 1/2"

Construction: Medium Brown EMS wrapper. Smooth. Light oil sheen. A nice looking cigar.

Prelight: Very nice aroma. Sweet spicey smell. Prepared with a punch cut.

Burn: Lit evenly. Burned evenly. Held a nice tight ash. The ash was over one inch before it could be knocked off.

Draw: Nice easy draw. Lots of flavorful smoke.

Smoking notes: Spice, oak and coffee flavors. A smooth medium mild taste. Short finish. A good first cigar of the day.

Overall Impression: This cigar comes with a cedar “blanket” on it. They seem to be much better if given a month or so of humidor time. This was a good cigar. It was a nice smooth smoke. This cigar was rated the best mild corona in the Spring 2006 issue of Cigar Magazine.

I think that anyone who prefers a milder cigar would like this one. They don’t have an overpowering taste and may seem a bit bland if you are one who prefers more flavor.

Retails at about $4.50

Thanks Ice,
