CAO L'Anniversaire Cameroon Review

On a whim, I picked one of these up yesterday. The last CAO (Black I think) I had was a little...stout...and was really strong for my taste. But, you know, a BOTL has to do what a BOTL has to do....What a great smoke!

I had a Robusto (5 x 50). The smell and construction was perfect. Snipped the end and fired this one up on a break at work. The burn was mostly even with a little rough spot in the middle. The draw was very smooth and effortless.

The taste was excellent with a rich woody flavor. I read other reviews that spoke of a coffee and/or nutty flavor, but my indescriminate palate couldn't detect any.

The part I loved about this smoke was the smoke. Thicks billowing clouds with each puff. I love a cigar that unloads clouds of thick white smoke. Something about exhaling all that smoke that adds to the relaxation. (opposed to some cigars I've had that seemed to have more ash than smoke...)

I'll have to get a couple more of these - defintely a repeat performance.

the CAO Cameroon is probably my favorite CAO. Awesome flavor.
