CAO CX2 Review

Well as most of you know I just got a box of the CAO CX2 in the mail today, and I liked it so much I decided to take a shot at doing a review. So here goes. Like I mentioned the smoke in question is the CAO CX2. The cigar is composed of Nicaraguan and Columbian long-fillers inside two gorgeous Cameroon leaves (wrappers). The size is Robusto, and runs from 10-13 bucks a stick. From the moment I fired this stogie up it was bursting with a fantastic sweet but spicey flavor. I am not sure how to describe the flavor except for it was mildly sweet, with a hint of spice. Overall this is a very good flavored smoke, very smooth and not overly complex. The construction was fantastic. The cigar burned perfectly straight for the duration of the smoke, and produced copious amount of thick white smoke. The draw was in my opinion was perfect not too loose and not too tight. One of the things I liked most about this cigar is that it burned cool the entire time. I nubbed it and it never got excessively hot. Last but not least it kept a killer tight ASH!! I would have to say that as of right now this or the AVO Signature is my favorite smoke. I suppose if I were grading it I would give it a solid A. In my opinion this cigar is a must try.

Burn 9.00
Consistency 9.00
Draw 9.75
Appearance 9.25
Taste 9.25
Construction 9.50

Thanks for the review . I have a question though, how delicate are the wrappers?

From what I could tell after smoking 1 of them they are not delicate at all. Actually they are kind of thick. I suppose the double wrapper helps. I smoked one right out of the box yesterday after they had been in transit all weekend and i had no issues with the wrapper even when cutting the cap. Overall Very well constrcuted, probably be even better once i restablize them from thier trip

I agree with your review, as I enjoyed my CX2. But, I tell you what, that bastard snuck up on me. About a half hour after smoking it, my damn head was swimming!! I should of eaten something ahead of time!!

Great pics and great review. I love CX2's!

If you search CAO CX2 in Google, Cigar Review is number 1.

No, but I might be tomorrow. I'm off to Puerto Rico at the crack of dawn with a Cuban hottie who's family happens to be Cuban exiles.

<--- She looks like that.

Uh...watch the store while I'm gone, as usual.
