Cu-Avana Churchill Review

Cu-Avano Churchill

Wrapper – Connecticut Shade
Filler - Dominican
Binder - Dominican
Ring Size - 50
Length – 7.00”

Construction: Very firm. A well made cigar. Flawless light brown wrapper. This is a very good looking cigar.

Prelight: Spicy and citrus scent. Used a double gulliotine cutter to open the head.

Burn: Lit evenly. Great burn. Did not require a re-light. Stayed nice and cool.

Draw: Very easy. A nice mouthful of smoke with each draw. No “double draws” needed.

Smoking notes: A very mild bodied cigar. Not a powerhouse at all. A simple cigar, not complicated at all. Slightly spicy with a citrus taste. A very slight coffee aftertaste.

Overall Impression: Not a great cigar, but pretty good one. It’s very mild and probably not for many of the cigar smokers here. It would be a great morning cigar or good on the golf course. A great cigar for those times you want to smoke but arent in the mood for a complex cigar. Sort of a "no-brainer" cigar.

I got a fiver of these on C-Bid for $7.00, so it’s a very affordable cigar. I plan to get some more and keep a few in the humidor.

I give this cigar a B.

I keep a few of these around for long nights of drinking...let 'em lie down in your humi for few month near some high priced relatives and the flavor improves quite a bit...that Connie wrapper loves to pick up flavors...
