LGC CHARLEMAGNE MADURO a real pleasure to smoke

Tonight I lit up a LGC CHARLEMAGNE MADURO.
WHAT MEMORIES it brought back to me....

The LGC Charlemagne was my first top tier smoke from many years ago. In the late 70's, 80's and 90's I would get a bundle of these delivered to my door once a month or so. LGC became a RENOWNED brand so they could'nt take the time to send to individuals. It was my loss. I still have 2 sticks from the 90's. The cello is quite yellowed and the cigar band ink has bled into the stick.

I'm sure the blend has changed for today's LGCCM.
BUT WHAT A DELIGHT tonight's smoke was.
The stick is very BIG and MANLY looking.
The DARK, DARK wrapper is intimidating. It screams POWERFUL.
This stick was NOT TOO STRONG. It was quite mellow and smooth with LOTS O FLAVORs.
I had a wonderful two hours of smoking with this and

I urge you to get some of these.

FOR less than $90 a box of 25...ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!!!
WOW!!!

Tom

What up with these sticks? doesn't appear to me (may be wrong) that none of the "big" online retailers sell this smoke. Nor are there many reviews by some of the usual suspects of this cigar online. Was just wondering, since your review raised my interest - always looking for tasty, smooth, mild-medium, maduro for decent price. Thanks for the notes.

I got mine from FAMOUS Smoke Shop.
I see they have them online too.

OOPS I hit submit too quick..
I had a chat with a FAMOUIS salesguy about the lack of press for the Charlemagne. I noted that I always see the LGC WAVELL prominently displayed And the CHARLEMAGNE would have the same success as the WAVELL if they were shown or presented more.
He mentioned that the CHARLEMAGNE was a MUCH BIGGER box and the maker may want to push the smaller size since he can ship more, store more, and make more for the same efforts.
He certainly enlightened me on these thoughts. I think he hit it on the head.
This is why we don't see the CHARLEMAGNE as much.
Hmmmm
