Casa Torano Robusto Natural Review

Country: Honduras
Length/Ring: 4 3/4 x 52
Shape: Robusto
Wrapper: Natural
Strength: Mild

Atmosphere: Cigar stored at 55%RH. Outside with no wind and relatively high humidity. Reading Band of Brothers, by Joseph Ellis. Paired with water.

Wrapper: Nice light brown wrapper with a few veins but overall very nice look. No wrapper imperfections.

Contstruction: Excellent. Firm to the touch. No soft spots. Well wrapped.

Pre-light draw: Tobacco, pepper flavors.

Light: Lights evenly and easily with a single flame torch lighter.

Taste: I've had a few of these and they are all very consistent with a creamy initial taste with nutty overtones morphing into a peppery flavor at the back of the toungue. The flavor does not change much through the cigar but becomes a little more prominent in the last third. Unfortunately, these leave a bit of an aftertaste hours after the cigar which is difficult to get rid of.

Overall: I highly recommend this smoke for anyone who likes them mild with a good amount of well balanced flavors. This is one of my go to cigars when I know exactly what I want.

Similar: These cigars taste similar to the 5 Vegas Gold line

Here's some pictures:

Re: Casa Torano Robusto Natural

Nice review. I really enjoy these--have a couple in the box right now. My first impressions include cedar, lots of it on the finish.

Great review. They are a great smoke and a regular in the rotation. I always keep a box on hand. Creamy and smooth, great with morning coffee or when I want a gentle stick with flavor at night.
