I've been keeping notes on a different sheet, and I can say that I'm always noticing in my notes aspects that I've completely forgotten about. It's always good to keep notes, especially if you're smoking multiple cigars over an extended period of time for a review.

I'm glad this thread surfaced again, I've been meaning to switch over to this new sheet. It seems like it's probably a bit more suitable to my purposes. (Eventually, I'll may have to make my own to support my particular/peculiar review style...)

My compliment Colin....

This make evaluating cigars much more consistant than most other methods I have seen. I am going to go back to the evaluations of the Blind taste panels I have participated in and redo them.

ICRS Sheet brought me to CigarLive...Thanks Colin

I spotted one of these review sheets in a photo on a cigar blog, and I Googled "ICRS Review Sheet" and found this site! Thanks for a great tool to aid in my objective review of my smokes, and thanks, too, for leading me to the site!

I have to agree on the chocolate comments - you've definitely got to add it as a common flavor.

I've also detected the following essences on an uncommon basis: "red wine", pineapple (I'd call it tropical fruit maybe), and straight sugar.

Fish is complete bullshit IMHO (maybe you're confusing it with saltiness).

Hmmmmm nothing like a touch of pickled herring and smoked mackerel in your cigar. I've never picked up fish in a cigar, but I have picked up some flavors that remind me of certain dishes I've enjoyed so I could see where someone might pick fish up.

I swear that the EO 601 Oscuro reminds me of steak au poivre.

How do you add marks to the cigars for Apperance, Flavor Changes? I can't add the Final Rating either. Great for otherwise!

Some random suggestions:
- I'd like to be able to save the form when completed. I'd like the form in something else in addition to pdf if not.
- direct uploading of a completed form into the review
- dates on the forms - box or purchase date, smoke date - so we can get an idea of how old the cigar was when it was rated.
- recommendations for aging, if any.

Thanks!

Nice work guys! Thanks. The form will be very useful for cigar evaluation.

:mrcool:

I think if you taste sandalwood in your cigar you may want to move your humi a little further away from your incense burner!
