I enjoy Gurkhas, I personally dont have the problem of thousand lines, outside USA only few lines are avaitable (and maybe the more constant production ones) like Master Select, Anciet Warrior, Class Regent, Legend, Vintage Shaggy, few Grand Reserve and rarely some Warlord.
I'm attracted by this brand and I wish to try all their lines (at least the ones I can find ). But I'm with you that they are a bid overpriced, I dont give 2 cents to His Majesty or Black Dragon ones, leave them to actor or such, they know well how to waste money

I've had good results with the Legend Perfectos...pick up a 5- or 6-pack on CBid for $16 to $25, get a nice 90 smoke that's got a bit of depth, and not too powerful!

I like almost every Gurhka I have tried. My fav is Centurion XX and the Brigade (XX with Regent wrapper). But I also enjoy the Double Mad,Platinum,Symphony and Beast. I have just now recieved the beauty and the impression I got from the first that I smoked is this could be my new fav cigar period.

Have you smoked the "Grand Age" or the new version of the "Black Dragon" yet? I have both sitting and aging nicely. Looking to try either one of them soon...

Smoked the grand age didnt really strike me as different from the legend series. I have two Black dragons but have yet to try either. I want to try a Gurhka Crest but havent gotten around to picking one up yet.

agree...the grand age didnt honor its name...aged?, not really,it was kinda green actually. at those prices I would expect more from Gurkha.

I liked the Legends, that is why there are cigars for everyone. Besides smoking those Marlboros will kill your taste buds.

Let's put it this way, i prefer a padron '64/'26 over them tasteless gurkha's. Retail pricing, they have the same range 10-12 bucks msrp.

I dunno... Legends are decent smokes but the Shaggy is amazing. It blows everything else in the price range (7-8 bucks) out of the water IMO.

(but this is why so many cigars are made. Everyone has different tastes)

Echoing some that have already said it, with Gurkha my opinion is that either its really good or it's really bad. I have smoked a G3 (there is a B & M here that carries them faithfully) and it was probably the worst cigar I have had thus far. I dunno, I have been told by many that it was just a bad stick and to try them again but the money for some those sticks are retarded. They seem to be the only one "caught up" on what it is they say they do when their sticks are made. Who knows, sooner or later they will smack themselves back into reality, bring in some of those lines and focus on one thing...

I agree that they mark up Gurkhas ridiculously, that is why I buy mine at the Devil Site. 3-5 a stick

not all of them are tasteless, if you know your gurkhas you know wich are good wich arent,.gurkhas from cbid do not taste the same as the ones sold at B&M's its no diff than padrons, you wanna pay 25-35 bucks for a 30th anniv that taste just like a 64/26? padrons are good but are just as over hyped. not to mention those even worse tasteless AF lines you wanna talk about marketing and over pricing, thats a whole diff story.

They always seem to beoverpriced to me unless like others have said they are "on sale" at one of the net sellers. I have smoked a few and thought it must be me because I could never understand the hype. Havn't really had one yet that I was really impressed with.
