Gurkha line
I know I've seen Gurkha's taking a lot of heat from people, but so far, I've been very satisfied with them. Granted, my only experience thus far is the Double X Perfecto and Boer that I'm smoking now, but just seem to be ok with what I've sampled so far. I've got 2 or 3 more different Gurkhas in my humi yet, but for a stick in the $3-4 range, I'm ok with it. I certainly wouldn't pay the inflated MSRP listed on some sites though.

I have had a couple that were pretty good and a few that were just so-so. I wish I could tell you which they were but Gurkha has over 500 different names so I can never keep track!

I've been pleased with pretty much all the Gurkha's I've smoked.

A decent boutique brand - but some of their MSRPs are laughable.

Fully agree - good smokes but they are very proud of some particular lines.

I've never had one I didn't like but none have been OMG good either. Decent sticks to give a try if you happen upon them at a good price. They do need to pull their heads out of their buts on some of their prices though.

What you guys don't think the $750 stick price for a His Majesty's Reserve is reasonable???

What about $1,150 a stick for a Black Dragon?

I wonder how many variants of Ghurka there are? Seems like they release a new one every week.

My favorite Gurkhas are the Ancient Warrior and the K. Hansotia 101's. They are pretty similar to each other. I had a Class Regent the other night, and it was better than I remembered. I seem to pick up a few here and there from CI when they are on special. The Expedition is pretty ho-hum, IMHO.

The Legends line is actually really good but WAY over priced at retail. Two words...Cigar Bid...you can get them for $3-$4 a stick on a good day and at that price they are a GREAT value.

they're pretty much hit N miss for me...I either like a certain line, or hate them. There are so many to choose from. I really like the Hansotia X3s thought! Excellent cigar!
