Montecristo White - Rothchilde Review

smoked this stubby guy yesterday, truly a fantastic smoke.

montecristo whites have always been consistent in their build-quality, perfect draw, and smooth-mild taste.

this one was no exception, the wrapper was nice and smooth, and after a good rest in my rubbermaid-ador the aroma was fanfreakingtastic.

i used a punch on the cap, lit up with a match, and off i went.

burn was extremely even, although the first quarter inch was a little off.

the first 1/2 inch or so was kinda rough tasting, but after that it was smooth sailing.
i snubbed this one, a tiny bit of spice, some cedar, and leather was tasted.

A+

(if someone can ****** me $$$ to cover shipping, i will send them one )

I'm glad you enjoyed it. However, the whites just never have done anything for me (perhaps too mild and not enough flavor). I keep trying them every once in a while because they sure do look purdy, but same result... disappointment.

I like coming back to one now and again; accompanying the lovely look/construction I always find a few sweet nuances in every coupla puffs. Appropriately enough, like a kid finding an Easter egg. I would agree there are other smokes with more plentiful nuances. I guess part of the attraction that draws me to them is that I handed 'em out at my sons wedding (mild, inoffensive aroma, classy box and tube). A lot of people smile when you pass 'em out - I can vouch for that.
