Like others have said, as close to an ISOM as I've tasted. I've had this and a Habana Leon from Pepin's factory and both were outstanding. Great construction, draw and taste. I forsee more in my future.

Next you need to try the Tatuaje's & Cabaiguan's from Pepin. You will not be dissapointed.

Still trying to find them locally. I had to drive 2 hours to get the Padilla.

The first Tatuaje or Cabaiguan I find will be mine.

Easier to just order a couple singles of each online.

Re: Padilla Miami 8&11 Churchill

Thanks for the links. I'll keep that in mind, but for the time being, I've promised my wife that I will not order anymore cigars online. I can pick up a couple if I happen across something good at a smoke shop though. Thus the need to find them locally.

Dandee, my situation sounds similar to yours.

I'm on a slight buying freeze, except if I can find a couple while on vacation. Now I just need to find a good shop here in Hilton Head! I'd love to come across a Padilla Miami (preferably torpedo) and Cabaiguan (preferably belicoso fino), but I won't hold my breath.

The only shop, I know for sure, that carries Tats and Cabs in that region is in Little River at the NC/SC line.

Looks like a shop in Freeport Maine may have the Tats I'm looking for. Its only a two hour road trip, and what do I have to do on vacation but waste time.

I just need to convince my wife that she has to go visit the LL Bean outlet!

Tell her that there is a big clearance on shoes. You will have her there!

Re: Padilla Miami 8&11 Churchill

Well, I found a shop (I believe the best shop on the Island) and unfortunatley no Padilla Miami's!

However, they did have some PAM's and Ashton VSG's so I picked up a few and will have some very nice smokes this week.

Re: Padilla Miami 8&11 Churchill

l've been on a Pepin binge lately. I picked up a sampler recently from Cigar King and the Blue Labels and JJ Series from Serious. They were all very good.
I have had the Miami 8/11 which was very enjoyable. Miami Churchill 5 pack is enroute along with two others that I haven't tried yet, also from Cigar King. I have a Tatuaje Tainos in the humi which I am anxious to try.

The Cabaiguan is next on my list and that should just about complete the Pepin line for me. Still not sure which ones I like the best but the Miami, so far,is at the top of the list.

You gotta drive down here to Two Guys in Salem or Seabrook...Or Gold Leaf in Seabrook. No tax on cigars in NH.

I paid 8 dollars for the one I had a couple of months; recommended to me by a guy at my local B&M. It was VERY strong, complex and...VERY strong.
