1876 Reserve Review by Key West
I liked the looks of this inexpensive cigar in the catalogs I've received and online. So, I finally picked up a ten-pack on "The Devil Site". I still like the looks. The draw was good, only 1 of the first 5 was a little light and only 1 was a little tight. The only burn problems I had were caused by me: dropped one and messed it up pretty good, and smoked one in 20mph wind (that didn't help). But, otherwise, the burn was pretty even and never needed touchup or relighting. All 5 have pretty pretty smooth and mild, except for very near the end. Apparently, buildup of tar/nicotine causes a little bitterness, but still not bad. Overall, a good little cigar for $1 a piece.
My Personal Rating Scale: Appearance (0-1): 1 Draw (0-2): 2 Burn (0-2): 2 Construction (0-1): 1 Flavor (0-3): 2 Overall (0-1): 1 Total (0-10): 9/10
