I don't understand the Wow factor for the Nub. I have tried every one of them,,,from fresh off the boat to aging them for months. This is the most one dimensional cigar I have had and its the same from the first puff to the last and it doesn't get down to the last half inch. I usually stay with it until the last inch but even then, it just doesn't give me what it gives others. Suffice to say, to each its own and I wish I could get the same reaction that others get from this cigar.

I have 3 left,,,any trades?

Well, Cigary, you are correct - to each his own. That being said, the Nub is not noted for its complexity, but for its consistency. It starts the same flavor it ends in, unlike even your most complex cigars that you sometimes have to wait for the first half inch or so to get to the good stuff. Some people love complex cigars, some people love one that gives you a good solid flavor from start to finish.

I, personally, love most all of them!!!

Wow that is the first person I've heard call the NUb one dimensional. I'll admit I'm a HUGE nub fan, so I can't be partial but calling it one dimensional, I don't know about that. I find them quite complex even the conneticut, which is my least favorite, is more complex than any other conneticut I've tried. May I ask what your typical smoke is?

Maybe my idea of complexity is a little different but I believe while they aren't complex in the sense that the flavor changes as much as they are in the fact that I catch quite a few different flavors packed into a nice consistent package

I agree with you as well and I love a complex cigar that has some different tastes associated with it. The Nub is marketed as a cigar that has the best part of a cigar ( sweet spot if you will ) from head to foot. I had not tasted the "sweet spot" during the whole cigar but as I said, each person has their own likes and dislikes,,,as long as you like it,,it's all that matters. However, according to the Kama Sutra, there is more than one way to derive pleasure and I'd hate to be limited to one dimension of flavor.

I have talked with alot of people who love them as well,,,they just don't ring my bell and I wish they did because I love the size,,,shape,,,and price point. My typical smoke lately is a Rocky Patel but I also have many other cigars in my humis,,,partagas,,,Fuente,,,Gurhka,,,,mostly cigars that are medium to full bodied.

I didn't voice my opinion to start a debate but rather just to say that everyone has different tastes,,,this one just doesn't do it for me and thank God there is more than one cigar flavor.

LOL cigary that sounds like my humis but with nubs and illusiones mixed in . I'm always looking for a good friendly debate. I hope it wasn't taken as anything but friendly. I agree completely by the way part of what makes cigars so great is that no two people have the same reaction to one.
