Cuban Crafters Torpedo Review
Well I had the first of my full bodied CC sampler this afternoon. The dark box pressed torpedo had little pre burn flavor that I could detect. Seemed quite bland. Once lit it was another story. I think my palate is maturing because I'm beginning to sense some recognizable flavors. It seemed to change as the stick burned but I got plenty of pepper and spice with tones of espresso, wood and grass/hay. The last third was most intense but not bitter. My only complaint with this particular stick was that it had a bad burn. It continued to canoe throughout the smoke and once I had to stop, purge it and actually cut part of the foot off. I should mention that the wind was howling and I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. Other than that, the construction was good and the draw was perfect all the way through. The dark wrapper was toothy,as they say, and almost primitive looking. I would rate it as a pretty nice smoke but not my go-to cigar. I've got five more to sample. I'll let you know how they are as I enjoy them. Any comments you folks have on these smokes will be appreciated. I've still got a lot to learn. I used to rinse my mouth after smoking but now I savor the lasting finish. This one is long.

They seem pretty fairly priced. I have only had their cameroon and Don KiKi Brown. The cameroon was okay and the brown was pretty good. May have to try their other stuff.
