I'm not too sure myself Scott. I posted a little while back about how much I enjoyed my first CAO Brazilia. Packed with flavors and body One of the folks came back and suggested that I try the El Mundo del Rey. I happened to have one in my humi for a couple of months from a sampler I bought so I lit it up last Wednesday night. I was really a bit disappointed though. I'll have to say that the construction, prelight aroma, draw and burn were absolutely perfect. A total 100%. The problem was that it didn't seem to have any appreciable flavor until the half way point. I was drinking ice water with the smoke and I actually stopped drinking to give the taste a chance to develop. It wasn't until the stick was about 3" long that it really tasted like I was smoking something and it never even approached the fullness of the CAO. Maybe I got a bad one or something. I drove to JR's in Selma NC today and picked up a couple hundred bucks' worth of 3 and 5 packs but I was reluctant to get any more of these. Now I wish I had. I'll have to pick some up on line I guess. Anyway, your review was quite good. You've got me thinking again which is good. Thanks.

Excellent review Scott. I too enjoy the El Rey del Mundo's. They are a standard go to stick when I can't decide on something else. I woudl also suggest trying the Flor de Llaneza - it is also one of my favorites from this line and a standard stock in the humi.

Great review Scott! I'm a fan as well although its of the Robusto Larga which comes in at 6x54. I still have a couple left from the box I got a couple years ago. Great smoke.

I picked up a couple of robusto sized last night. Think I'll let em rest awhile before smoking them.

I love the Flor de Llaneza!! It is a treat cigar for me though because they're not as inexpensive as the others.
