Victor Sinclair Vintage Select Review

I got this stick from Palm55, who urged me to try it. I wasn't expecting much, as this cigar is about $40 a box of 20. As I took it out of its cello, I noticed the wrapper was very toothy, and the cigar ws perfectly box pressed. As I lit it up, I noticed it was billowing smoke, which is always a good sign! CI describes this one as Milk Chocolatey.. well, they are right! The first 2/3 of the cigar was great milk chocolate flavors with hints of leather. Once I got down to the last third, it turned into an orange/chocolate flavor, similar to the chocolate oranges I used to get in my stocking on Christmas as a kid. The burn left something to be desired, but I am going to attribute this one to the fact that I lit it with a match, in the wind, and thatss never good! I've found another cigar I need a box of... I guess its time to get that coolerdor finished!

Disclaimer, I couldn't find any decent pics of this one, so no picture of the cigar.

Scott... Glad to hear the twigs arrived without damage! And I believe that your review is spot-on.

I've been finding that the VS Resreve line improves immensely with age. IMHO, it also offers better flavor when it's smoked very slowly.

Okay, okay!!! I'm a cheapskate!!!

Onward and forward!

I've been pleasantly surprised by a couple of the VS products... The Vintage Select was a lot more flavorful than it had any right to be, IMO.
