Mi Cubano Maduro Review

Mister MaDuroo gifted me this Mi Cubano, along with two Indian Tabac Cameroon Legends. The Mi Cubano was my favorite -- a somewhat harsh cigar, with a moderate draw, slow burn, and a very robust, striking flavor. Even though I hate these sort of snobby food comparisons, I will say this cigar reminded me of slightly burnt pecans and dry burgundy.

I looked up the Mi Cubano brand online, and apparently they were popular during the cigar boom as a premium label. I think they were made by La Aurora, but they are hard to find now. A shame, because I would definitely try them again.

Re: Mi Cubano Maduro

I can't remember if I sent you one that was bald, crystalline or blooming - either way, glad you liked it. Those I have from '04 are crystallizing and smoke as you said: robust, very flavorful, sometimes bordering on harsh (humidity lessens that), but never unpleasant. Sleeper or what? I never hear them mentioned but my local always keeps a dozen boxes on hand - nice price, too.

I'm new to those terms: crystalline, blooming. What does that mean? How can I tell by looking?
