Cusano 59 Rare Cameroon #1 Review
I posted 3 reviews in a n00b cigar review contest on Club stogie, I thought you guys might enjoy it too. Cusano 59 Rare Cameroon![]() ![]() 7 X 50 Churchill $7.50 at my B&M My Rating 7/10 Wrapper: Cameroon Binder: Dominican Filler: Dominican Nice long 7" Churchill. Tight But a little spongy. No big veins in the wrapper. I cut the end and took a whiff. I immediately caught the sharp odor of ammonia. I was worried that this smoke was going to be a big ol' POS. I took a pre-light draw and I got a sweetness on my lips and a light woodsey taste, thankfully no ammonia. That really whigged me out. I never expected cigars to have the odor of ammonia. I light it and take a few puffs and immediatly I am bombarded with tons of smoke, this one draws very easy and provides lots of smoke. It is kinda mild with a sweetness about it, but I think it's from the wrapper, not the smoke. After about 10 minutes with it, it gets peppery and acidic. Not unpleasant, just an abrupt change, not subtle like in the other cigars I have smoked. After about 3/4 smoked, it started to get harsh and hot. I figured this would be one that I didn't smoke to a tiny nub, so I put it down. Overall a nice smoke, maybe more than I was ready for. I think $7.50 was too much for this one. $5.00 for this one would make me happy.
