Camacho El Legend-Ario Natural #3 Review

6 X 54 Torpedo

My Rating
4.5/10

$6.50 at my B&M

This was a nice thick cigar. Very firm, not spongy. Dark and even in color. No big veins.

I cut the end about a 1/4" from the tip. I drew on it before I lit it and it was very earthy, with some hints of wood. It was very sweet on my lips. Very Tasty.

I took my torch and fired up the business end. Nice slow draws as I rotated it. After a few puffs the smoke got rolling. Nice thick tasty smoke. I really enjoyed it. I really can't speak to what it tastes like, because I am not picking up flavors like coffee or cedar etc.... It was a very bold taste. Earthy, spicy and still sweet on the lips.

Now this is where the goodness ends. While it had a nice even burn, it would take 3 or 4 puffs before I got a nice mouthful of smoke, EVERY time. Thus the end started to get wet from all the extra puffing and I eventually had to recut to get rid of the wet end. This was all for nothing, because it didn't help the draw any.

About halfway through the smoke, it started to get very spicy, I don't mind a spicy cigar, but it got spicy in my throat, I don't like that. All the other flavors kind of disappeared and all I tasted was the spiciness of it.

All in all, not a cigar that I would recommend, although the reviews I read online gave it a very favorable rating. Maybe it was just the one I had, but I won't be getting another.
