Cusano 18 Connecticut Review

Tonight I had the pleasure of smoking a Cusano 18 Connecticut, not sure on the size, a little longer than a standard robusto, fat maybe high 40's? Anyway . . . cut it, draw before lighting was very nice. Right away it was obvious that this was going to be a very mild smoke. Lit, started out very bland, nothing really standing out, built into some leather with a little sweetness behind it. There was also something that I couldn't put my finger on, and after reading notes from some of you, I realized that it was nutmeg! Overall, this was a great even-burning, mild, flavorful cigar that I would definately smoke again.

Good review. I like the Cusano 18 lines. Most are on the mild side, but at times mild is the way to go.

Re: Cusano 18 Connecticut

I have a buddy that swears by these, as do a lot of smokers actually. they get a lot of respect. i tried one once, and absolutely hated it.

BUT, i hate all cigars with that "toasty" taste. i feel like i'm smoking a peanut or something. Same goes for Gispert.

Then again, i dont like mild cigars. actually, i do love the blue label Dunhill, and Diamond Crown. those two are pure cream....
