Have to agree with responses above - 2000s, though really good, just don't do as much for me as the 4000s, 6000s & 7000s I usually smoke - difference between really good and great. To me the larger sizes seem to allow that unique Padron taste & flavors to more fully develop, but IMO there ain't no such thing as a bad Padron.

The entire cigar from start to finish was exactly the same so I'll give it good marks on consistency. I thought it might have been my palate that night but when I smoked an RyJ Maduro later, I got the normal full gamut of flavors. It was an OK smoke but most certainly NOT worth it's $15.00 tag. I've got better $2 sticks in my humidor...
I too find all the x000 series cigars taste mild and bland, kind of like smoking paper, (but you can't fault the construction I'll give them that, it is flawless) and I have smoked several of each.
On the other hand the Serie 1926 (any size) I can't get enough of.
If you paid $15.00 for a 2000 then you got hoodwinked.
Just my .
