Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet Review

Size- No. 2 Torpedo (6.0" x 52)

Smoked this stick last night while league bowling. As per my review of the Sol Cubano Connecticut. I wasn’t too excited about this cigar. (I usually take 2 sticks to the alley in case one has problems. This week I took a backup of a Perdomo Lot 23)

I was very presently surprised by the flavor of this stick.

First taste after lighting was a blast of pepper and some tingle on the lips. That taste stopped after the first few puffs. Taste moved to a smooth creamy taste. Not a ton of smoke, but enough.

There were 2 problems with this cigar.

1. A bit of the wrapper was separating just above the band.
2. About 1/2 the way through the burn tunneled and a hole started to burn through one side. It eventual corrected itself.

Over all I loved the flavor of this cigar. I got 4 more waiting for me and if they don’t have the burn problems like this one did I will soon be buying a box.

Re: Sol Cubano Cuban Cabinet Review

I bought a box of 25 last week on CBid for $49. Toro (6 x 50), I think.

They're aging now, but I'm looking forward to them.
