CAO Italia Ciao Review

My first review, so here goes.

After trying a Partagas Black that was way too plugged to smoke, I decided to try this from a CAO sampler I got a month or so ago.

Pre-Light draw was very good, not tight at all but wasnt loose either. The foot had an interesting semi-sweet smell to it.

Very good construction and nice even burn throughout, which is very common with all the CAO i have had so far. Had to do one small touch-up about half way into it but that was all.

Pretty smooth smoke with an aroma that my fiance might even approve of, Started out with a little sweet, nutty taste to it, about half way through it picked up the flavor intensity as the sweetness tapered off and had more of a spicy flavor to it earthy/peppery . I smoked it to the band, before I called it quits.

It wasn't a bad smoke, but not something I felt like holding onto and smoking to the nub. overall id give it a 7/10 it's just not my cup o tea.

I really like the aroma and taste of Italia.

I like the Italia, but as you said, they don't wow me. A good, slightly above average cigar that is nice when one needs a bit of change of pace IMO. Always keep a handful in my humi, when I want something other than a DPG blend, AF, Padilla, or Illusione/Cruzado/La Riqueza.

I like them too, I try to keep a box around for a nice smoke.
