Thumbs up Cubao No. 5 Review

I finally got my hands on some Cubao, and let me just say, "WOW!"

A little history first:

The Cubao is the latest addition to EO brands of premium cigars. One well-known cigar EO manufactures is the 601. The Cubao is also manufactured in Esteli, Nicaragua, exclusively for for United Tobacco, by Pepin Garcia. These cigars comprise an exquisite blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos topped with a beautifully rich and oily Ecuador Sumatra Oscuro Wrapper.

Country: Nicaragua
Size: 6 1/8 x 50
Shape: Toro (No. 5)
Wrapper: Ecuador Sumatra Oscuro
Strength: Full

Draw:
Perfect
Burn: Good (A few touch-ups along the way)
Construction: Great (Very oily wrapper, too)

Pepin does it again!

This cigar is very rich and peppery! Without a doubt, this cigar falls into the category of "Pepper Bomb". It also has a nice spiciness to it, I mean nice. Hints of dark chocolate and coffee notes; even a little woodsy taste on the finish.

If you have not tried one and like the way I describe this cigar, go get one!

I have had the no. 6 which are very good. A box of these will not break the bank either.
