Blue Label Review

I decided to fire up a Blue Label this morning....

I think with a little more age, this will be a fantastic cigar.

A little history:

Blue Label is a medium to full-bodied cigar produced in one of the world’s finest factories, STC, makers of the renowned Gran Habano line.

Size: 6 1/2 X 52
Shape: Torpedo
Draw: Perfect
Burn: Bad
Construction: Flawless

The wrapper on this cigar is stunning - Very silky-smooth and flawless!

Unfortunately, it did not burn well at all. I had to touch it up through the entire hour or so of smoking it. Had a slight harsh taste, but like I said, I think this cigar needs another 3 - 6 months of aging; so that's what I plan on doing.

Nice, isn't this one fairly inexpensive as well?

Re: Blue Label Review

keep us posted on the improvement of these. I have been curious about them, but haven't had any yet. I only recently delved into the GH line with a 3 Siglos, of which I was very impressed.

The Gran Habano 3 SIGLOS is the $hit! One of my favorites! The Blue Label is nowhere near a 3 SIGLOS.

Ok, I am in total agreement about the 3sig. How are the other GH's in comparison?

The corojo No. 5 is good, but not as good as the 3 SIGLOS. The No. 5 gives you that "Right n your face" bold corojo flavor.

Re: Blue Label Review

I had a bundle of those and my experience was that they lost some flavor and spice as they aged. The were much better in the first 3 months.
That's only me though!

+1 to that. I bought a box and put them aside. I'll revisit in a few months.
