I have tried to like this cigar and have bought at least 20 of these cigars in different sizes and all I get is a mediocre taste at best for the money. It just goes to show you that our palates are a bit different when it comes to cigars.

Like The 601's I sent them down the pipe to a brother that likes them allot were as I only care for the 601 blues on occasion

Back to the DCM's for a Mild cigar I really think they do have allot of flavor but you are right every has different tastes

Im with G23! I love the Maximus and the pyramid is my prefered vitola. I dont mind its mildlness, since in exchange for raw power, I get some of my favorite flavors, delicately delivered in an always consistent smoke.
