Had a recent trade with Paint and Redbeerd, and ended up with a few 5 Vegas Miami Knuckles....

This was the last cigar I smoked last night. I did not get to really nub it like I wanted to because it was getting late and I had to help my son study for a test.

Anyway, about this cigar:

Shape: A short, fat ass stump
Size: 4.5 X 60
Draw: Perfect
Burn: Good
Construction: Flawless

I typically do not smoke 60 ring gauge cigars, but I love the 5 Vegas Miami, so I thought what the Hell.

This sucker is packed with spice, pepper, and hints of semi-sweet chocolate.

Not to knock Nubs, but Nubs ain't got shit on this cigar!

Haha, that's good to hear a good review on these. I bought 12 of 'em on cbid a few months ago for some unknown reason and I haven't touched them because I read some bad reviews (and I have lots of cigars in my humi I *know* are good). Maybe I'll give one a try soon.

I really like the 5 Vegas Miami line. My fav. is probably the Toro size. I've had a few Knuckles and I can't really smoke them to the nub. It's the same with the Nub brand line. I really enjoy them, I just can't smoke them down to the nub. Oh well, maybe someday. Excellent review!

I dislike the NUB, but I love these. CI has them as a last chance buy at checkout from time-to-time for a great price.

Just got some of these in recently and I'm smoking my 3rd one right now. Got a dozen for $31 on cigarbid. Really nice and a very pleasant surprise. I'm a Nub fan and these are very much more complex than the Nubs. Will buy more, and soon!

Yeah these are good, I have had several of them from the CI order when they were on the daily deal.

I LOVE the 5V Miami.. I have a ton of them... Have 13 of the knuckles.. had 12 and someone from another board just bombed me with one... I will definately have one of these soon! Thanks for the review!

Looks like you nubbed em to me but since I have seen how you really nub a cigar,,,,ok, I agree with you on these. These are a good cigar and have smoked a few,,,,as you said about "nubs",,,,I'd rather have the knuckle than a regular Nub.
