Casa Magna Colorado Corona Review

Just finished a Casa Magna Colorado Corona that GlockG23 gave me in that awsome bomb! At least i think it was a corona....it was roughly the same size. This thing had some of the best construction ive seen yet! Very smooth, silky and oily wrapper. After lighting the oils start oozing out at least 1/4" past the foot. Very cool! Im not sure how they market these....mild, medium or full but this thing was at least to my taste....medium or a tad bit less. It didnt bite at your lips or tongue but still had loads of flavor. Consistant from start to finish. Dont know how to describe the flavors really...earthy, nutty, GOOD! Burned almost perfectly even. I rolled this thing constantly as I puffed and the wrapper held up amazingly. So smooth on the lips........almost like it was plastic! I will definetly buy some of these when I get a chance. Im interested in trying some larger ring gauges to see if they get a little stronger. Very impressive! Thanks Bill!!!!

Thanks for the impressions. I like the Casa Magnas too. The wrapper on them is beautiful IMO. Maybe not a true COTY but very good for the money.

I wasn't crazy about this cigar until I tried the corona (really more like a corona gorda with a little extra length). Better taste, better draw, cheaper, and easier to find than the robusto extra.

My neighborhood B&M sells these and the owner put me onto them. It's a fine stick.

Re: Casa Magna Colorado Corona Review

I love that cigar and it's the best vitola in my opinion. I've smoked the larger sizes.... The toro is just as good and the strength is the same. The others are not AS strong.

I want to try the petite corona.

I'd love to see a lancero come out!

Thanks for the review....

Re: Casa Magna Colorado Corona Review

Good review, I totally agree with the wrapper-- it's so smooth and oily (silky as you put it). The corona always impressed me more than the Robusto, although considering the other sizes, I think those are the best 2. I don't think theres a enough to it to make it a lancero-- I think it would end up getting reviews like the Oliva V lancero (lackluster).
