New Famous Smokes
I see in the new catalog Famous has some new Nicaraguans.....Habano Nicaraguan and Sun Grown Nicaraguan. Both are about $2.25 a stick. Has anybody tried these yet? Or are they still too new? Im curious I guess. I liked the Famous Dominican 5000 and ive heard the Nicaraguan 3000s are great so im just wondering what these will be like. Not bad at under $50 a box. They dont say who the "mystery manufacturer" is but they hint around saying "if you can afford Tatuaje, Don Pepin, or Padron on a daily basis then good for you. For the rest of us, theres Famous Nicaraguan".

Smoked a Famous Nic Habano Robusto today. Came in on Monday. Firm to touch. Nice draw. Even burn. Held ash almost 2". Would not be surprised if made by Oliva. Not the flavor of an O. Woody with a little spice. Reminded me a little of the TNT Padron Alternative. I like those so I liked this one. Bought off Famous auction for about $1 ea. Not bad for right out of the bundle yard gar.
