Smoking one of these right now and man did this cigar start off very peppery. I almost stopped smoking it but about a 1/3rd in it got smoother and less peppery. Good cigar got this 5er about 4 weeks ago from cbid.

I grabbed some Coronas off cbid a few weeks ago. Great cigar....my only gripe is that they are covered with gold glitter from the band. My wife thought id been in the strip club again cause off the flakes on my lips!!

im about halfway through a robusto these things start off as a pepper bomb from hell but once the pepper goes away I actually enjoy the flavors that lurk beneath alot more.. Im hoping with a little age it will bring the cigars flavor together better... they have potential to be awesome

Re: Casa Fuego Review

I received one of these in a trade recently, but had never even heard of them. Nice to see a good review! I love finding good cheap sticks, so I'll check this out.

Hi Aces,

Just finished three (3) this week and found consistancy issues. These would have been better (for me) had the pepper remained. All three (3) started out with Cuban type flavor but two eroded, one into blandness, the other obscurity and the third remained relatively flavorful. These were supposed to be 5-1/2" x 46, packaged marked so (off CBid), but the sticks were 42 ring.

Regards,

Pete

Re: Casa Fuego Review

I won a box of the belicosos off c-bid for, I think $37, a few months ago. At first, it was a pretty decent medium/full cigar, but nothing to get too excited about...I remember sending one to a friend & saying it wasn't bad & worth a try.

After a couple months in the humidor, at somewhere between 60 & 65 rh, this cigar woke up & turned into a very good cigar. I think I had about 10-11 left at this point & blew through them in a couple of weeks.

I have since bid & won enough belicosos on c-bid, at @ $2 each, to refill the box. I also have won @ 20 robustos at around the same price. It is a very nice cigar, if you can leave em alone for a while.
