Cruzado Review... whatever size it is

Ok, I asked you guys for your impressions about Cruzado. All you really said was, "eh, like'm ok. Smoke yours and write a review." Pansies.

OK, so I am the forum "test patch" for this.



It's a "pretty" stick, having a head adorned by that cute lil pigtail; a symbol to all that someone cared about what they were torcedar'ing. Whatever. That's about where my affection for this high-zoot, Illusione band ended.



Yeah, it's powerful. Yeah, it's got all that Illusione fullness. But, is it really better than the 888? Nope.

All it wanted to deliver was strong, single-ended tobacco. Power, for power sake is not all that. The wrapper struggled to add anything to the mix. Mostly what I tasted was hard edged filler and binder to match. I certainly knew I was smoking a cigar, but it did't reach out and touch me to say that it was a "fine", or even "re-fined" cigar... which it should have.



It burned even and produced this light gray ash. OK, that part was good. Overall, very well constructed.



I did strive for the nub, just to make sure I gave it every opportunity to wow me. It never did.

Wow nice descriptive review. I can taste that sucker with you, I wasn't impressed either
