Macanudo 1968 Churchill Review
1 hour and 50 minutes of burn problems. From the start one side refused to burn. Pretty looking and firmly packed. Lots of smoke and pretty good leathery flavor. Started with a punch cut and draw was firm, after about an inch sliced off the cap and draw was perfect after that. Throughout the incredibly long and slow burn the wrapper and binder did not burn as fast as the filler. I tried increasing the puff rate to no avail so I just had to constantly burn off the wrapper with my lighter. RH was at about 65-67 so that should not have been the issue. I got three of the pre-release samplers and did not have the same burn issues with the other sizes. This particular stick was no more than medium bodied.

Sorry about the burn problem. Hopefully it's just that stick. I had one not that long ago and it was a great smoke. I wasn't a big fan of Macanudo until these came out.
