DPG Series JJ Maduro

Ok, this will be a quick review, but I am hooking my camera up to my computer today because I plan on improving my reviews. Anyways on to the review.

Size: Robutso
Drink: Michelob Dark Amber( Didn't mix to well with this one)
Place: Man Cave(Horse Fly Free!)
Company: My lovely wife with her(DE Natural Irish Hops)

Inspection: Beutiful, no flaws, cracks, viens, mold and etc.
Construction: Nice and tight.
Pre-Light Aroma: Hmmm...Chocolate and coffee beans.
Pre- Light Taste: Same as above.
Draw: Medium-Tight(More on the medium side)

Lets GO!

Once I got her toasted and rolling it started of really strong. I couldn't really taste to much until about a half inch in.

Half inch in the chocolate and coffee starting showing their stuff. Was a really good balance between the two. This flavor continue until I was about 2 inches deep.

Two inches deep I started picking up a woody flavor with a slight leather like aroma and taste. The chocolate and coffe was still there as well, wow four different flavor's at once. I was in awe at how good this thing was. This continue for about an half inch.

Two in a half inches in the chocolate and coffee faded to a light flavor and the woody with a little leather kick got stronger. By now I was already feeling the affects of the power house. This flavor stayed the same until I got it down to about an inch and a quarter.

Inch and a quarter left I HAD to put this thing down go straight to the fridge grab my hersey's chocolate and chase it with a DrPepper. After a few minutes the buzz started to wear off. Wooo...that was close!

Overall: I had so much fun with this one, It had alot to do with the company and enviornment as well as being a awesome stick. I will rank this one as my second favorite under the Soprano.

Hell of a cigar but beware it packs a punch!

Re: DPG Series JJ Maduro

Thanks for the review, and for smokin' my choice #1. Its funny you mention the nic. of the cigar being strong. I smoked my first Pepin last fall (a blue label generoso) and I too had to put the cigar down at one point and take a break. 6 months later and I have no more probs with them. The body adapts, and good thing too, because these cigars have great flavor!
Cheers!

Nice review. Quick'n dirty and to the point.

I wasn't aware that lack of mold was a testing criterion. Nice touch!

This is one of the Pepin's that I have yet to smoke. The review makes it sound awesome though! Nice job, man.
